Terms of sale
The rules that apply to your purchases on petitcanon.ca, explained simply.
This English translation is provided for information only. If there is any discrepancy between the two versions, the French version prevails.
In effect since
These terms apply to purchases made on petitcanon.ca by consumers, for delivery in Canada. They are in addition to your rights under the law, in particular Quebec's Consumer Protection Act: nothing here limits those rights. The applicable terms are those in effect on the day of your order.

The slippers
Each product page describes the model, its range, its available sizes and its price. The slippers are handmade: we photograph them as faithfully as possible, but colours may look slightly different depending on your screen.
To choose the size, the size guide gives the recommended size based on the child's age or foot length. Foot lengths are approximate.
Prices and taxes
- Prices are shown in Canadian dollars.
- The price charged is the price shown on the site at the time of your order.
- Shipping: for orders under , free above that amount, or from pairs.
- The price breakdown (items, any discount, shipping, gift wrapping, taxes) and the total payable are shown to you before you send your order.
Taxes
Applicable sales taxes, if any, are shown separately before you send your order.
Orders
- You add the models and sizes you have chosen to your cart.
- You fill out the order form. Before sending it, a summary lets you check, correct or cancel your order.
- We send you a confirmation by email that sets out your order and this information, in a form that is easy to keep and print.
For the time being, sending the form is an order request: your order is confirmed when we write to you to confirm that the items are available and to give you the payment instructions, and then your payment is received.
Your order is confirmed when your online payment is accepted.
If an item is no longer available, we will let you know without delay and refund any amount paid for that item.
Payment
No payment is requested on the site. After you place your order, we write to you with the total and the payment instructions.
Payment is made online, by card, on Stripe's secure payment page. The amount is charged when you place your order. Petit Canon does not see and does not store your card number.

In addition to your rights under the law, we offer the following return policy.

Legal warranties
Like all goods sold in Quebec, our slippers are covered by the warranties of the Consumer Protection Act, at no cost and without any special steps:
- they must be fit for the purposes for which goods of that kind are ordinarily used;
- they must be durable in normal use for a reasonable length of time, having regard to their price and the conditions of their use;
- in the case of a latent defect, you may make a claim against us or against the manufacturer.
These warranties apply in addition to our return policy. If an item has a defect, write to us with a photo: we will find a solution (repair, replacement or refund) and the return will be at our expense.
Normal wear and tear and damage caused by care contrary to the advice on the product page (for example, drying near a heat source) are not defects.
